Machame Route 6 Days
The Machame Route starts from the lush rainforest at Machame Gate, climbing steadily through diverse ecological zones. Trekkers pass through moorlands, alpine deserts, and glacial zones before summiting at Uhuru Peak via Stella Point. On the descent, the route follows the Mweka Trail.
The 6-day option is faster than the 7-day route, so climbers should be in good physical condition and ready for a more aggressive acclimatization schedule.
