7-Day Machame Route.
The 7-Day Machame Route ascends from the southern base of Kilimanjaro, passes through five ecological zones, and provides ample time to adjust to the altitude. It uses the climb high, sleep low technique for acclimatization, making it one of the most successful and scenic trekking routes on the mountain.
The route descends via the Mweka Trail, offering a different view on the way down.
